MinnKota battery question?

I have a MinnKota Power thrust, 55 thrust on the front of my boat. I need a new battery and what would you buy if it were you. I bought a hughmongus deep cycle a few years ago and can hardly lift it out of the boat. It is time to replace it. What is your idea of the best battery for the bucks? Where would you but it.? Thanks

I bought a junky walmart deep cycle, it works great and was cheep..

I bought a giant deep cycle battery at Napa and very expensive. It lasted till there was no warranty. I then bought a new one at 2/3Rd's the price at Walmart and it is still working good after 5 years of hard use.

i would get a deep cycle delco freedom battery, there the best

I like the everstart group27 deepcycle from walmart.

largely because replacements are available 24/7.

also it's a pretty good value.

For my MinnKota 55 I go to Fleet Farm and buy the biggest baddest deep cycle they have. Actually I buy two of them.
