Miscarriage, birth control and period?

Hi, i am just wondering if anyone kno's the ans to this. After a miscarriage they say it takes 4-6wks for you to get your period again. Well i have just finished taking the pill yesterday so my period should be due this week, (4wks since m/c), if it dosn't come this week then should i start taking pill again when due OR wait the extra 2wks.

I am goin to go to docs on fri if i don't have it by friday and check with them but i am just asking on the off chance that anyone else has experienced this

I'm not sure that you'll have a problem because when you stop the last pill your period get triggered automatically. Basically, you stop giving it a hormone it wants and the reaction is to shed the endometrium. You should get it within a few days and certainly before Friday when you visit the doc.
