Wrong category I know, but you answerer's are more mature than friends. I have a circle of friends, drama queens, when two are together its poisonous. They are cruel and full of drama!! They stopped talking to each other for a while and its been purely perfect. Now they just made up and are trying to get everyone together again. Hmmm what to do? They both have been told about causing drama but continued and I am sure they will again. I have known them for years but I'm thinking about getting away from them. I don't want to be part of their drama. What would you do and how would you do it?

  1. Don't feed into it. If no one played off the drama they would have no cause to do it.

  2. Sounds like you have a conscience and they need to obtain one too.  Those kind of people are so miserable themselves that they have to make others miserable so they can feel better and eventually you will be on their list of people who can make them feel better about themselves.  It doesn't sound like they would be a good choice for a "friend" anyway.  Move on and find people you can trust, that'll be important to you in your future as hopefully your friends follow you there.  Honestly when you get older and have kids etc. if you keep friends like this your hopefully going to grow out them anyway and may not have any friends then.  I went through that.  Had to dump all my friends as I grew up and got more mature.

  3. To be honest, when it comes to confusion, and drama, i hate that, and i feel no ways about disassociating myself from ppl like that,so if it was me, i would just tell them straight up what i've noticed about them, and just let them know that u cannot and will not associate yourself around ppl like that.Be direct!

  4. Get away! Drama queens are never happy and will take you down with them. Misery loves company and I sense that about them. In order for you to live a normal life, remove yourself from them. Start off by using excuses not to hang out. Make yourself too busy to talk to them . Keep your time occupied and they will either get the hint or through time, they  will go away. Dispite what they say to you, you know in your heart that they are bad for you.  Ignore the I love yous and the best friend blah blah blah and run away! Good luck.

  5. I find myself never getting "too" close to people because you don't know when circumstances will arise, meaning drama will take over & the negativity will out weigh the goodness...  After a while, when you feel the pull tugging at you to distance yourself, you will do just that. Keep in contact, but just don't give any information that could "d**n" you later. Never explain yourself, you do not have to. Honestly, if you tried these people more than likely wouldn't get it.  No where is it written that you have to keep the same friends forever!  Sometimes, we just outgrow them.

  6. I hate drama, so if that is all they are about, I would have probably pulled away from them as a friend long ago.

  7. "Drama" doesn't tell us much.  I'd say either don't get together with them anymore (ie. find new friends), or suggest other ratings, such as comedy, adventure, documentary, politics, horror, sports, war, history, etc., etc.
