Misprint dime?? missing the head side??

Question

I have a dime that only has the tail side. The head of the dime is missing. Its just a copper plate. The dime has the back side that looks normal and it has the lines on the edge of the coin. Its just missing the HEAD and DATE. Any thoughts.

Ooohh, you KNOW thats got to be worth something!  If anything, a conversation piece to hold on to.  Taking it to a coin collector (dealer?) might get you some better answers.

Keep it!  Mis-strikes are usually worth money.  Check with a reputable coin dealer.
