When you miss a usps package that isnt express does it go to the post office on the back of the notice sheet left by the mail man? Does the package just sit there waiting for a pick up?

  1. The notice sheet tells you what they've done with it. You can usually pick it up at the post office during the afternoon, or they will try to redeliver it.

They'll return it to the sender if it sits unclaimed for a week or so, but it depends on the individual post office.

  2. The package will be waiting at the post office. If it is not picked up after a certain amount of time then the package will be sent back to the sender.

  3. If the paclet came UPS then it will be at the UPS. You can call and have it deleved sometime. Or you will hap to take slip you got with you to UPS. Now some Cities have more than one office. That why you should call. Sometimes there will be a pick up address on the slip.
