Missing Memory from hard drive

Question

I have A Lenovo 3000 N200. It says that there is 69.4 GB of memory. Of that 31 is currently in use. About 4 GB is free according to Windows. That leaves 34 GB unaccounted for. I have already spoken to Lenovo about Rescue and Recovery and removed that program but still have not seen an increase in available memory. Vista can on the computer and virus and spyware scans came up clean. I have only had the computer for about two weeks.
