what is the open world and closed world systems. What are the differences between open and closed class systems? What would you identify your own culture to be (open or closed)? This is often debatable in the U.S.... Give support for your answer.

Open world systems are associated with those countries that actively engage in global activities such as economic exchange and cultural exchange. The US is an open world system as we allow a large degree of cultural exchange and influence. Whether or not the natives accept is a different issue. Close would systems are those world that lack exchange between countries. North Korea is considered one and so is Burma.
