Money......better off without it?

Question

What are your views on it?

i know we all enjoy having it.....but do you think the world would be better off if it had never been created?

I mean taking away everything. No trades.....nothing...

.Just being able to go into a place and grab everything you needed.......wouldn't that be better than the profound poverty we see today?

But then again.....so many people would take it for granted...

no progress would be made. plus you can survive without money even in todays society. last night at a concert i traded a glow necklace for a drink

being able to "grab" whatever you needed would never work. You are right when you say people would take it for granted. Check out some jungle societies. Everyone works for something needed in the community. Girls gather fruits, veggies, herbs and berries for medicines, rope and leaves for making baskets. The mothers take care of children and cook. The elderly are the doctors and the men hunt for food and build structures as needed. The basics of survival may seem so primitive but when you see what all this MONEY has done to folks, dont you wish for a simpler time?

no because then we would have no economy and would probably go back to the old ways of trading, with well whatever is worth anything.

And also with no economy we cant really progress as a society.

i feel nothing would be created.. no business or anything.

no houses... no anything.. it would just be like way back in the day.. all woods...   nothing butwoods.
