im tryin to write a story on monsters, demons, etc.. and i was wondering what are some good ways i could make it possible to fight a fictitious monster of the night??

can you be more specific on your category of "monster of the night" what kind of monster is it?

EDIT: okay...how about a monster of the night that cant die, and the only way to get rid of it is to kill yourself when it possesses you. it only targets those who are sane, its scared of crazy people and attacks its victims by materializing their fear.
