Same as the sun, it rises in the East and sets in the West.

The time that it rises and sets varies though, sometimes it may rise in the middle of the day (and you won't be able to see it), sometimes in the middle of the night. It depends where it is in it's orbit of the Earth.

In general, the Moon rises somewhere on the eastern horizon, but it's exact point of rising varies from night to night, depending on the current angle of its orbit around the Earth.
