Moonstone or not?

I bought a stone a few years ago, i just thought it was pretty, the guy who sold it to me said it was a moonstone. i found it a few days ago somewhere in my messy room and I was wondering if it really was a moonstone or not.

I have seen other moon stones before but im still not sure.

If i hold it up in the light there are lines in it but they are curved round looking things, it is alittle shiny but much. and it is sort of a blue clear color.

Anyone know what it is?

a good picture with a single light source would help.a halogen light is best. Moonstone is feldspar.Look up schiller effect or chatoyency.Moonstone can come in many colors.
