Question:

Mopeds at an apartment complex.?

I live in a three story apartment complex on the second floor. There are several surrounding buildings. How would I keep a moped without worrying about it getting thrown into the back of a truck and getting stolen?

There is a light post in the middle of the parking lot, about 100 yards or so from my building, but I think leaving it out in the open wouldn't be very smart.

My landlord has no clue as to what I could do. Should I see if I could install some anchors in an empty space to 'tie' it down?

  2. I think there are motion alarms for motorcycles. If your parking lot has those concrete bumpers in the parking spaces you can get a steel cable under one and lock your bike to it.

  3. Even with anchors, if someone has bolt cutters they can take your moped in seconds, quietly
