under the philosophy of mercantilism, would it be possible for all nations to be prosperous???

OMG thanks?  Hmmm...

First, you need to understand the idea of mercantilism.  One state (country) sends a group of people out to harvest raw goods, like lumber and coal.  Those people sell those goods cheaply to the home state for cheap.  Then, the home state manufactures goods and sells them back for a higher cost.  So, the home state gets money.  The colonists... not so much.
