Most interesting countries? ?

I have this weird thing I do when I pick a country and just look up all their history. For some reason, it interests me. So which country would be good/interesting to read about.

In addition, I read about the U.S, Russia, and England.

you should know that the most ancient cultures are:

chinese

egyptian

greek and the ancient civilization of Irak and Iran...

if i were you i would visit Greece which combines both nice summer vacation and exploration of the ancient greek history!it's a country with many archaeological sites!

I think Israel has very good history what all start the Palestinian-Israeli conflict goes back to the Yom Kipour war good history.

Well I'm guessing you like history so how about the caucus and Armenia, I really don't know much about that area. that's why I'm recommending it. I usually read all I can about a country then I pick off other peoples knowledge at dinner.

another option is Anatolia or modern Turkey and research all the ethnic groups that have gone in and out of that area and the different civilisations... that's kinda what I am doing now.
