Anyone know which of the three countries that have signed the NAFTA (Canada, Mexico, USA) is most jurisdictionally lenient on pollution control? I have a feeling it is Canada, but, obviously, I'm not certain.

  1. Mexico, assuming enforcement is included in your analysis.

But none of the three is exactly "green" if you include global warming.

The scientific ignorance shown by the idea "what would happen if you took all the CO2 out of the air" boggles the mind.  The point is that no one is advocating that, nor is it possible.

  2. I notice you don't use the term "green".  You're to be commended on that.  There is far too much name calling and stereotyping by the people trying to block environmental initiatives.  Mexico has had the most and most severe Air Quality alerts in the past 10 years among these 3 countries.  I understand what you are saying about Canada, but their lower population density causes some of their bad practices to have less net effect.

  3. OK global warming activists should not call themselves green.  With bio fuels, you put far more CO2 in the air than fossil fuel.  If you compost then the rotting debris gives off quite a bit of CO2 as well as methane.  Just like the thawing permafrost in Alaska...  Guess where all that methane comes from?  Then if you take all the CO2 out of the air, guess what the plants that feed off of the CO2 will do?  You guessed it... they will die.  So green and global warming alarmist are really two different things.
