Mother's 50th Birthday, help??

Question

It is my mother's 50th birthday and I want to get her something really special, but my sister is already doing the engraved items or photo album stuff, what can I get her that she will love?

do something completely special for her

like... my sister made my mom a scrapbook of me and my siblings..

and her grandson

and her and my dad

might sound stupid... but shes your mother and it will mean more if you put thought into it... and do something that comes from your heart and not from the store

also... for mothers day... we took my mom out on the boat and just drove around

then went to a late lunch

im not sure how old you are... but my mom also loves it when i clean the house completely while shes at work and have dinner made and ready to eat when she comes home

or... lol i have a lot of ideas that ive done

for my sister in law i drew a picture of her son

seriously... anything from the heart...

that you took time to do

i hate getting gift cards cuz they are so impersonal

i think u should give her some keepsakes that she can love and remember.. something sweet and longer lasting..a child's care may be.. bring her to the spa and other places that she really loved. so to enjoy her bday.. and also, you might celebrate it with the persons who are dear to her.. hey when it was my mams bday she was gonna be 50 and she was a twin so we sent invites to everyone and had a bid party!

but if she doesnt like a fuss my dad was 50 and he HATES  a fuss so we jus the family went out for a meal

you dont need to give your mam smething expensive remember the memory is really everyone being together
