Motorcycle for under $700 anyone?

I live in the Chicagoland NW Suburbs and am looking for a used motorcycle for under $700. looks mean nothing, becuase it will be my first bike and i will be learning on it. Does anyone want to sell or know of anyone selling for around that price? Looking for something at least in the 90's and hopefully HONDA. but i quess all inquiries will do. thanks.

you might be able to find an old street legal dirt bike for that price.

Look at craiglist.org. for chicago.  Then Motorcycles and Scooters.  you can search by price make model.

Hi Mark,I bought a basket case back in 1967 for $150 . I thought I was a capable mechanic and found out I was not.I toe that Honda engine down 6 times before I got it right because I didn`t realize that Honda 160 had a crank where both pistons rose and fell together.It had a 360 degree twin crank.I ended up spending more than the price of a new one to repair and replace all of the worn out stuff on that bike.I have riden many bikes and hope you find the right one for you.

Here is one for $700.  However, I don't think you are likely to find a bike in the 90s for that price.

otherwise I'd recommend save some more and get a bike that might actually be working properly
