Motorcycle or Jet Ski (Stand up)?

Question

Since I was about 10 years old I can remember seeing Sport motorcyclists and GASPING and wishing I had one..along with the same about stand up jet skis :p

Now that I'm months from turning the big 18 and pondering taking an MSF course.. I have a lot of friends and family trying to talk me out of motorcycling, which is in my blood, my passion, and bad desire. Simply, I find it amazing, Zen-like.

Jet Skiing on the other hand seems much safer and just as enjoyable.. but without the freedom to ride at any time and less of the lifestyle of a motorcyclist(Bad thing :p). Along with how amazing Jet Ski racing looks..

To make it simple, I've always found motorcycles appealing not because they are fast, but because of the happiness it gives the riders, thats what Im looking for, excitement and adventure in my life. So I was wondering the main differences between Jet Skis and Motorcycles. Along with the benefits it gives you, the riders.

well comming from someone who has been ridding standups for about 3-4 years now and recently purchased a crotch rocket I would have to say that jetskiing is a blast expecially on standups, its great, and everyone loves to ride them, but they are expensive to fix, fuel, and buy and you can only ride them in the summer and depending on where you are it is usually a bit of a drive/commitment to use them. I think you would get alot more use out of a motorcycle (I cant believe I am saying this cause I absolutly love riding/racing jetskis). its your personal preference but a motorcycle is more practical then a jetski depending on where you live

I have done both and believe me Jet skiing is boring compared to motorcycling. BUT much more refreshing on a very hot day.  SO over all Motorcycling gives a lot more for the money.

I own multiple bikes and multiple stand ups and there both great. bikes you see more scenery.  but jet skiing is refreshing and you can do amazing tricks and not worry about becoming paralyzed or something like  that. I have a modded freestyle ski and man is it fun!

faudge safety, no one likes people on a jetskii, get the HOG!!!!

ide do both of them but i prefer motorcycling and motor cross because you can explor the world on them and in motor cross its fun going of ramps.
