Motorcycle sales?

Hi, I'am about to do the direct access, and are looking for a first time bike, probably 500-600cc. I live in merseyside and are having trouble finding local dealers. Does anyone know of any. website links would be grateful, thanks

Oh Merseyside. How lovely. I think Ebay is a good website to buy bike. Normally seller will arrange to meet up with you to get the bike picked up if you win the bid, may be at their place or somewhere that both of you agree on. I bought a really cool Suzuki Bike via Ebay off this guy up North of England. Ebay is cheap and very good actually

You can specify your postcode and find local bikes for sale, dealers and private sales, if you are new to buying bikes dealers are probably best since you have some consumer protection, better still take somebody with you who does know about bikes and will rein in your impulses.

www.autotrader.co.uk, and then click on the bikes tab in the top left.  Put in your post code and then select how far you are prepared to travel.  Then use the dropdown on engine size to select the 490 to 675cc range, there are currently 199 bikes available from dealers and private sellers within a 20 mile radius of the Liver Building.  My first was a GS500E, cheap as chips, available in 33bhp and easily de-restricted once you have passed.  Lots of Bike training schools use them.
