Motorstorm: Pacific Rift or Burnout Paradise?

I'm trying to decide between Motorstorm: Pacific Rift and Burnout Paradise for my first racing game for my PS3. I had Burnout: Takedown for the PS2 and loved that but I've heard great things about the Motorstorm series also. I know Burnout Paradise is more open world and adventure instead of just racing and soon it will be on the PSN for only $30. But Motorstorm has multiple types of vehicles and it's going to be newer so probably better technology than Burnout. PLEASE HELP I cannot decide and any opinion would be appreciated! I've got motorstorm for the ps3 that is satisfactory and burnout paradise is an okay game I'd rate it a about 8/10 it crashing affects cartoon affects let it down. I'd much suggest grid racer which is a mind blowing racing game without a doubt in my opinion the best racing game title on the ps3. Dirt is a good game aswell. Unless there's been a huge improvement in gameplay on motorstorm definately buy grid racer it's a racing lovers dream. Also on burnout paradise you can't customise your car only change the paint job. Go for grid racer brother should be better than these two games put together
