Mountain Equipment Co-op shares?

Question

Several years ago I became a member of MEC in order to purchase things there. So, I'm a holder of one share. What can I do with that share? Can I sell it?

You can redeem it for the original price paid if you wish.  Although its likely easier just to keep it to be able to buy stuff at mec - it's 5 bucks after all.
