  1. Lucky you!  I wish I could do that...but YOU have to decide for YOURSELF!  Can you have the career you want, make the money you need to make to live well, have the medical services, etc.?

You might help yourself decide by making a list of pros and cons, and then assessing the situation once you have it all down in front of you.

I love visiting Miami, but it is a little too "wild" for me...South Beach is just TOO MUCH!  I love the Florida Keys, especially Key West, and imagine that Saint Martin is a lot like that, but less commercial, less crowded, and a much cheaper place to live.

Wait a minute!  I think I just talked MYSELF into moving to Saint Martin!  Let's have a margarita at high noon!

  2. I say, you go for it. To tell you the truth I'd take St Maarten over Miami any day.

Do you still have family in St Maarten, it would be easier to relocate.

    Good Luck)

  3. I've been there and it’s probably my favorite place on Earth.  It's so beautiful and the people are friendly and there's no so much tourism that the local people lose their identity to it.  I think your decision should be based on what industry you would like a career in.  If you plan on making money and having a family or stating your future, ask yourself if there are enough resources there to make your dreams come true.
