  1. Parts of Virginia are country and parts of it are city.  So it totally depends on where you are moving.  However it is really beautiful.  If you are moving to an area that is more 'country' than you might suffer a little culture shock, but I'm sure you'll adjust in no time.  It primarily depends on you though.  Every area has a lot to offer and you have to be able to see it for the coolness that it is.  It might be different than what you know, but that doesn't make it bad - just different.  Think of it as new experiences - new adventures.  You may find you have a skill or joy in an activity that you would never have known otherwise.  You just have to be open to the experience.  Personally, I get excited everytime I walk into a new town or city.  The anticipation of what type of adventure I'm going to have now.  It's in the way you perceive it.  New and exciting or morose and depressing.  You can choose to be depressed by it - but that will only hurt you in the end.

  2. Its pretty not country at all in most parts, i live in norfolk and its 100% city, its a really fun place. lots of neat history

  3. where in Virginia are you moving?  Northern Virginia consists of  Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church and Fairfax.  Parts of Fairfax are kind of county.  Loudoun County is country, what's left of it.
