Muiti picture image?

what do you call the image that is made from loads of smaller images. where you take 100's of images/picture then fit them together so when you stand back and look at them they make a new image/picture?

Its called a collage i think. Not sure if spelled correctly though.

like the one of Elvis made of millions of barcodes?  Couldn't tell you, but I would like to know as well.

I don't think there is a specific name for it.  Mozaic art maybe.

Montage is a picture made from photo's.

Collage means pasted.

i do accept what Chris said, but in day to day chat, rightly or wrongly they are called Collage's.

hear are a couple ive just done, of the womens Tennis world No 1 and 2..
