Mumbai to Goa By Sea?

I want to go Mumbai to Goa but i do not know how to go and where I have to contact for this service. Can any body tell me ?

Nowadays there are no cheap ferries available. But if you can shell out some extra money there is a cruise ship (Super Star Libra) that operates on some days from Mumbai to Goa and back and also  to some other destinations like the Lakshadweep. This is again on a temporary basis only and is not a regular service available throughout the year. I am not sure of the cost of this tour but it will definitely be in the five star range. This service has been discontinued some time back and the cruise option is quite expensive.

Your best options are plane (very easy to book now-a-days over the internet), train (contact any travel agent or do it yourself) or bus (plenty of places selling bus tickets to Goa).

You can also be a bit more adventurous and drive down if you have a car. My advice in this case is to do so by day where you can enjoy the sceneries along the way but watch out for people, pedestrians, jaywalkers at any town along the route. This is more fun if your are 3 or 4 persons travelling together.
