Munich Airport Map??????

I came on summer vacation in my country - Bulgaria from Montreal Canada. I was flying alone on a plane for the first time and it was kind of scary. I was flying with Swiss Airlines and Flew from Montreal to Zurich then form Zurich to Sofia (capital of Bulgaria). I had a map of the airport in Zurich and it was quite simple. Next week I'm going back ot Montreal but not throw this air port. I'm flying for Sofia to Munich (Germany) and them Munich Montreal only this time I don't have a map of the airport and I don't want to get lost...when I get there I want to know where I am and where I would probably have to go. So if it's possible can someone give me some advice for the airport in Munich or give me a link to a map of the place it would really help me. I have 3 hours that I will be in the airport until I have to get on the second plane. I also think there might be some maps there but I'd rather have seen one before that so I know (more or less) where I'm going. I'll be arriving on terminal 2 from Sofia and will be taking off form terminal 2 for Montreal.... I think that's what it says on the ticket...I still don't know the Gate yet but that's the least of my problems.

I also want to know if I can carry DVDs in my backpack witch goes with me on the plane...it has my music on it and I don't want the 2 DVDs to break if I put them in the big bag. I have more stuff in there but those 2 DVDs are the most important.

  1. Maps of Terminal 1 and 2 are at http://www.munich-airport.de/en/consumer...

  2. > I have this s***w driver witch I like verry mutch so can I put it in the big lugage that goes in the plane?

Yes, you can. -- First time I took a plane out of Germany after the stricter security measures, I had my Swiss Army Knife in my pocket, as usual. They took it away from me and stuck it to my checked luggage in a big plastic bag with a huge red sticker "PAX property - customs cleared" (in English!). -- h**l, I just flew from Berlin to Amsterdam! Nobody had ever complained about my knife.

Munich airport is huge, but don't worry. Unlike Frankfurt/Main, where signs can be misleading, you'll find your way through MUC easily, even without a plan.

DVDs are no problem, but write something on them, for heaven's sake. German customs people don't like unlabeled DVDs. Write "music" on them, and everything will be fine. Be prepared that they might check them by inserting them into a portable DVD player.
