Muslim Ramadan ?????

I'm 19 and have been with my boyfriend for about 6 months now. His dad is Muslim and his mom, who was Christian converted to Muslim when she married his father. He is also a Muslim. Now that its ramadan he told me that he cant kiss me, hold my hand, or do anything sexual with me. He said all he can do is hug me. I asked him if after sunset if he can kiss me and he said no he cant do anything for the whole month.

He said he cant because " it can lead to temptation". I found this odd because we are both virgins and both waiting for marriage until s*x. I don't understand why he can not even hold my hand..and not even after sunset.

Is this true???

Yes it is true. And though it may seem hard its ok all you have to do is wait i mean you don't want the devil to tempt you and him into sins do u.

having girl friends ... dating ... etc are not allowed in Islam.

He isnot a practicing muslim . Do one thing for me please . Tell him to learn more about islam ....

Quran ch : 16 verse 90.  

Verily, Allâh enjoins Al-Adl (i.e. justice and worshipping none but Allâh Alone - Islâmic Monotheism) and Al-Ihsân [i.e. to be patient in performing your duties to Allâh, totally for Allâh's sake and in accordance with the Sunnah (legal ways) of the Prophet SAW in a perfect manner], and giving (help) to kith and kin (i.e. all that Allâh has ordered you to give them e.g., wealth, visiting, looking after them, or any other kind of help): and forbids Al-Fahshâ' (i.e all evil deeds, e.g. illegal sexual acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right), and Al-Munkar (i.e all that is prohibited by Islâmic law: polytheism of every kind, disbelief and every kind of evil deeds), and Al-Baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression), He admonishes you, that you may take heed.

Ch : 33 verse 35

Verily, the Muslims (those who submit to Allâh in Islâm) men and women, the believers men and women (who believe in Islâmic Monotheism), the men and the women who are obedient (to Allâh), the men and women who are truthful (in their speech and deeds), the men and the women who are patient (in performing all the duties which Allâh has ordered and in abstaining from all that Allâh has forbidden), the men and the women who are humble (before their Lord Allâh), the men and the women who give Sadaqât (i.e. Zakât, and alms), the men and the women who observe Saum (fast) (the obligatory fasting during the month of Ramadân, and the optional Nawâfil fasting), the men and the women who guard their chastity (from illegal sexual acts) and the men and the women who remember Allâh much with their hearts and tongues. Allâh has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise).

Ramadan or not, girlfriend/boyfriend relationships are not allowed in Islam.

I'm not sure why your boyfriend is concerned with fasting in the first place. Having a boyfriend/girlfriend in Islam is not allowed. So by him kissing you and having you as a girlfriend shows he isn't practicing. Hopefully his fast will remind him that what he is doing with you is against Islam and he will either marry you right away or end your relationship. Respect his fast and stay away from him for a month.
