Just wondering, whats your favorite type of hijab. I need to go hijab shopping and was just getting some opinions :)

I tend to get the shawls and wrap them

I like shalwls :) and just wrap them over my head and tuck under my chin. or u can just pin that on about yr ear and lave it like that.

in begining just stick for that which is easy for u, wo wear :)

The ones they used to wear at the time of Muhammad (pbuh) until they invented "modest fashion". Dark colors, not see through, and no sparkles and glitters. Not so tight around your head that you look like your suffocating. So long as it is loose, covers to your chest, and doesn't scream "look at me!", it's all good.

One thing I've been wondering about for a long time, is people's avatars. If they wear the Hijab, why do they customize their avatars to look like them? That way, people will have an idea of what you look like.

i'm used to the turkish syle of hejab (the square type) i tried using the shawl type but it so doesnt suit myface and it will be all over the place.. lol.

I just graduated from al-amiras to square hijabs- I can finally do the pinning without sticking myself!  I'm fairly happy with patterned square scarves, but I really like the way that shaylas look on other people.  If I can master using more than one pin, I will definitely try a shayla.  I especially like shaylas with fringes.

Cotton, all cotton, in summer time, and when it's really cold in winter, a wool/silk blend for warmth.

I prefer khimar and dark muted colors.  Anything huge will do!  Anything huge, plain but nice, and dark is perfect!!!!
