I am a Muslim lives in the US and I am wondering when Ramadan month is going to start inshallah …

I live in Oregon City, OR …. Ramadan Mubarak !!!!

Date is : Aug /19 / 2008 .

I suggest that you better check and confirm this matter with the nearest Muslim community in your area. In Islam, you should never assume. You must be really sure about things, especially things regards to syariah (Islam Laws). I've a close friend currently living in SC(greenville, south carolina) and he always get in touch with the Muslim community there.

Yes Ramadan will start on Monday,September 1,2008 in Indonesia and in USA it maybe fall on Sunday,August 31,2008 because its time difference is 12 hours .Insya allah Ramadan mubarak.Marhaban ya Ramadan.
