Muslims do u trust shias?

please dont trust these people.one of my work colleague i found out is shia.he was so nice and pleasant to me.he saw me sad and came upto me to talk to me.i explained him my reasons that my younger sister is getting married and i am 26 nd not married. he suggested i should marry him until i find a husband.he convinced me this is alllowed in islam.i couldnt beleive this. he already have wife and kid and said we dnt have to tell anyone about this.i told my brother this and he said shia belief is different to rest of muslim.now i cant go back to work becaue i dnt want to face him.

Im a Alawi. It seems that there are many misconceptions on this topic but also alot of ignorance and hatred too.

This is what makes this beautiful religion so hard to unite!

Because of the many differences of opinion and upbringing, in the eyes of strangers this religion seems a mess!

The Sunnis cannot proclaim innocence when their claim to fame is enemies of Imam Ali,Saddam Hussein, Taliban, Al Qaeda etc etc...

Because of this hatred amongst each other there is war in Jabal Muhsen in Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and too much violence and unnecessary bloodshed throughout the Islamic World.

What I want to know is,why can't we unite? We're all Muslims!

first of all sorry to hear what  happened to u but what one person does doesn't mean that all the others do the same thing and ya i would trust a shia and if u say that i will tell how about me telling u that i don't trust sunnis but not true i know some sunnis and they r the nicest ppl i have ever seen in my life to me they were like family i didn't care wheather they were sunni or shia to me they were muslims and thats all

Your question does not make sense because s**+'as are Muslims and the Prophet (saw) said that the Muslim ummah is like a single human body. So basically, you are asking Muslims if they trust other Muslims - the question makes no sense.

That aside, would you like it if every single non-Muslim told every other non-Muslim not to trust any Muslim because one foolish Muslim committed a misguided act? no, so why do you treat fellow Muslims, shias, in a way which you would not like others to treat you? it's called hypocracy and is one of the worst attributes a Muslim can have, so you might want to distance yourself from it in the future.

What does it have to do with trust? Because he asked you to marry him makes him mean and unpleasant to be with?...

I agree that it is not right for him to ask you like, specially with kids and wife... but that doesnt make shia any less muslim, or not to be trusted....
