okay

so i have been having pretty extre3me heart issues, it started 2 years ago, and i finally went to the doctor for it a few weeks ago, he told me it could be my extra nerves in my heart that are supposed to be off, which in my case are going on casuing my heart beat very fast, to a point i can clearly see it beating and i feel as if i can hear it in my head, my inner ear starts to hurt, after 30 minutes, my neck and shoulder, and especially my chest and head, i cannot even write when i have it because it becomes so painful, i cant even move my arms, up and down, so this lasts usually 2 hours but lately its getting to 4 hours, i had to get a heart card [[it records your heart when i have those episodes]] and it sends to the doctor, my doctor also did and ultrasound and i was diagnosed also with MVP and when my doctor looked through what i sent on the heart card he immediately called the next day and asked if i could go on thursday to see him, and getting an appoingment with him would normally take about 2 months, iam worried because he said i would need medication and my mom is kinda upset i feel as she is hiding somethin, its seems so serious, so what is this? is it my MVP or my extra nerves goin haywire? i heard you might have to get a surgery if its really bad, and so farr it seems like i have to do more than a normal mvp patient would have to do..

  1. There are varying severities of MVP. If your doctor thought it was an emergency, he would have sent you to the ER. Just go see him, you will probably just have to take medication.

A friend of mine gets episodes of racing heart that don't go away by themselves. She has had to go to the ER several times to get injected with something that slows the heart. She is on Atenolol I think.

Why for gods sake did you wait 2 years for a heart problem??
