My Betta fish is acting crazy !!!!!

He will swim up and down in the tank really fast some times but other times he will just lay there for hours or lay up side down for a long time . He really lays on his side . He never did this till like a month ago . I just thought he was going to die cause he was getting old . He dont ever eat anymore . He just dont act like he use to at all .

Well i have had 10 Beta's over like 3 yrs and they can be weird like that. Some beta's have problems with eating because their mouths are poorly constructed so its hard to eat food. I wouldn't worry about him too much. Just keep doing your regular routine. Also, try putting some items in the bowl for him to swim in and out of. He might be doing this because he has excess energy. So give him something to play with.

If he's laying on his side.  He prolly wont be around very much longer.  I'm sorry to hear about your betta :(

feed him shrimp. try breeding..

Two of my bettas have done that, and I figured it was an air bubble pulling them to the top or flipping them over. Just feed it at least once an hour and maybe it'll come to the top enough to expel the bubble.
