My DVD writer doesn't work?

My Laptops DVD writer isn't working.

Initially i got errors of some 'DLL file missing', while playing video files. As per one forums advice i installed dll file and changed some registry settings.

From then on my dvd writer isn't working. i uninstalled ' Nero 6' and still i am getting the message 'Fatal Error: Installation Corrupted - please reinstall NERO' whenever i am playing videofiles.

I could not understand whats all happening with my laptop. Is it a problem of hardware or software?

try power dvd software to play dvd.free nero player isn't good.

reinstall ur dvd writer software.

when you get a message that a dll file is missing it is because a program has been installed or uninstalled incorrectly.

so download the missing dll file and then it'll be fine..
