My Dish receiver has gone bad.?

I've had it for 4 years. All I have is a blue screen. I have pressed the on/off button for 30 seconds and have unplugged the unit and that didn't help. Will Dish replace/repair the unit? Will I be charged for this?

is your box connected to the TV with a coax cable ? if has a threaded ends on it and you watch sat on ch 03, then the blue screen either means, your on the wrong input or your VCR is on the wrong channel, if your connected w/ RCA cables (yellow-red-white) ends try a different video input or if you have a different TV you can connect in its place you ll be able to confirm if its a TV or receiver issue
