Question:

My Macbook Won't Start. Help??

by  |  earlier

My macbook refuses to start. I push the power button and nothing happens. The light from the isight camera flickers a bit, but nothing else happens. The battery is fully charged and the charger is in working condition. Both the batter and the charger have been tested on another working macbook, and both work just fine. Has anyone else had this problem?? How do I fix it?

  1. I recently had a problem with my iMac. I took it in to apple and they had it completely fixed within an hour. If you dont know what you are doing, dont mess around with it because that can s***w it up more.

  2. do the NUM and CAP icons light up?

    if so ...

i believe the problem is Within the Monitor..

    not the Computer....

    nevertheless...if your not sure..

    dont tinker with it ...

call up and see about your warranty or whatever plan you have ...

they will help you if you ask them ....

  3. take it to the apple store. the genius bar will be able to figure out exactly what's wrong with it. Otherwise, for the time being atleast, you can go on to http://discussions.apple.com/index.jspa (apple's forum) and just start a new thread, and they might be able to help you out.

  4. Try holding the power button down for about 12 seconds, to make sure that it's fully turned off. Then hold down the apple key and push the power button again.

If this doesn't work, perhaps it's something internal and you have to check it out at the shop. :)

  5. have no idea, sorry.
