My Sleepover Plans Are Ruined!!! :( :( ?

Question

On Thursday my parents are going away to the New Forest for the night and my two younger sister were going to stay at my nan's house and I was going to stay on my own in my house...(Im 17 btw).

We didn't mention anything to my parents, but me and my best friend were planning a sleepover that night. She was going to come here and we were going to order a pizza, rent a film etc and make a night of it, as I've never had the house to myself before. We've been planning it for ages and were getting so excited, cause the pair of us haven't seen eachother for ages cause she's been away, and I've been stuck indoors most of the holidays.

But just now....my mum said that my nan might actually be staying HERE for the night now, instead of my sisters going over there!!

I feel ever so upset now. All our plans are ruined!! And even worse I have to break the bad news to my best friend tomorrow and she'll be so disappointed.

Please help!!!! We were so looking forward to it!! :(

tell your mom that you wanted your best friend to stay over night and that you want them to show that you are grown-up and responsible enough to have the house for yourself. Tell them that you are not going to throw a party or do anything that will make them feel sorry for trusting you. also tell them they can call any time just to see if you are alright. they won`t be calling all the time because they`ll feel safe as you offered them they could call and check on you if they wanted.

Your 17 you shouldnt be having sleepovers, i moved out when i was 17. Get your nan drunk and go to the pub with your mate you will have much more fun !

I always stay in my mates with family there and without its no big deal. Tell them. Otherwise its just not worth gettin worked up over

well don't act like you give a **** one way the or  other that's there test to you to see if you care if you stays home alone  trust me act like its no big deal that nan comes or not see what happens ...at either rate I'm sure nan not young anymore and spending time with her will help you become a young women believe you can learn allot from her
