My african chiclid has stopped eating

he used to eat just fine.... he isn't eating AT ALL now

That's not much in the way of help here.  What sized tank, what species of African, what is your water chemistry, what are ALL your fish in the tank?  There's so many places to start with, this simply isn't enough information to figure what is going wrong.  Are you even sure this is a male?

feed him something with garlic to keep his appetite up, do your research and it will be ok
