My aunt hasn't come home

Question

She went to the ffair to see some fergie concert. And she never spends the night at someone's house without me. And nor at a hotel room. And she tried calling me once.

And I had phone on silent. And then she sent me in captail letters a txt saying:PLEASE CALL. And I called 20 time's. And she didn't answer. It's 1 am now. And she isn't home. And I'm scared that someone hurt her or kidnap her.

Her and 2 friend's of her's. Should I call the police? Cause I'm about to call them cause I checked her room and she wasn't in there.

For adults who may have gone missing, I think you have to wait 24 hours or maybe even 48 hours before reporting it to the authorities.

It totally sucks, I know, but those are the rules I'm afraid.

If your aunt were a child, her "disappearance" would be handled differently, of course.

I hope she comes home soon!

Of course you should call the police it is the only choice you have now...it's not like you can go after her looking for her...good luck and hope shes safe!!!

call in 10 mins and text her every 5 mins no matter what that guy saying about you have to wait 24 hours....CALL The police but maybe the consert was late?  look online and see where the consert is and see how long it is and what time the fair close...maybe she droped her phone and lost it...if she isnt home in the next hour then call the police

I would say the first thing you should do is call a relative to see if they can stay over and watch you while your mom gets home, after you get off the phone I would call the police, if this doesn't seem like a normal routine of things sounds like something bad could have happened. I would be scarred.

I don't think the police would do anything until she has been missing for 24 hours. Just hang tight. She probably put please call because her battery was running out fast.

don't panic call her again.  if she is not home by daylight, call the police.  call her friends maybe she stayed the night with them. it will be ok.  how old are you.  people sometimes do something they don't ordinary do when they are out with other people.  good luck
