ok my sis just had a baby and he is 4 months old =D and i wanted to know if u play a certine genre of music to the baby over and overp likeng that genre????.........btw its alternative(flyleaf green day good charlotte three days grace) stuff like that ?

My favorite band is Evanescence. I listen to it all the time even while at work. When I was pregnant with my last son I would put the head phones on my belly and he would be forced to listen to it. After he was born when we would drive anywhere I found that he would be calmed down and fall asleep to Evanescence but it was only Evanescence that he would calm down to. So I think if they get used to it early they will like it as they grow.

lol.....my niece (who is seven now!) loves old school rap because we used to play it all the time when she was a baby!!!

believe it or not my daughter is particular to classical and country. I myself am not a huge country fan but the minute I put on Carrie Underwood she is quiet as a church mouse.  She also likes light airy classical music she falls asleep to it every night.
