  1. i think it has swim bladder problem. stop overfeeding.

  2. is he dead?

that happend to my fish though.. and his name was cindy ^_^ i know i was six ok?  (im 11 now)

well cindy.... passedd away.. because she was stressed out.. if you put your face to the bowl to much it may scare it... also things near the fish may be scaring it... and it gets bloated when it gets stressed out.. HURRY OR COLE MAY BE GOING TO A BETTER PLACE REALLY SOON

    heres what happens

    1. bloated

    2. swellingin eyes

    3. eyes pop out  (im not kidding that happend to my fish)

    4. goes nuts (may mess up his fin and cant catch air then dies happend to my fish)

cure (helped but only for a while this is why you must start this asap)

    1. get some of those selser water fish things from pet smart...

    2. put one in your fish bowl every day

    3. let your fish relax contiue to feed it may get better but if you started to late treatment may fail

GOOD LUCK!! ^^ TELL ME how cole turned out :)

  3. well maybe it's pregnant? have you put another beta fish of opposite gender? or it might be potential health problems. here's a website for you to see about it.

  4. How often do you feed him? Overfeeding a betta can kill him.

  5. My bettas died in that position, but their scales looked like pine cones so I know they had a deadly disease. I would try the pea method. Boil a pea, skin it, feed it, don't feed him for 2 days. If that doesn't work, he may have a bladder infection. Do you remember the last time you saw him go poopy?

  6. His he still eating? If he is try giving him the mushy inside of a pea. Take a frozen one, boil it, take the skin off and feed him just a little bit of it.Then don't feed him for like two days and see if it goes down.

  7. I can't believe that your betta is even still alive after a month and a half. It sounds like to me that your betta has Swim Bladder disease. He has all of the signs. The weird swimming, bloated belly, being at the bottom of the fish tank. Your betta is extremely sick and could die soon. A fishes air bladder, is an internal organ that controls your fishes buoyancy. This is where your fish is sick. Causes of swim bladder disease are: water quality, diet, and the shape of your fish ( usually in goldfish because their body is so compact, pushed together. ) To treat this don't feed your betta for a few days. Fish can go without food for up to ten days. Get some medication from a pet store or Walmart and places like that. If your fish doesn't get better then you should try to feed your betta peas. Frozen peas just like we eat. The peas help to flush out their systems to help the food pass through and let it heal. It's kind of like a bowel obstruction in a human being. Good luck with your sick betta. I hope that I've helped you.
