My camera wont turn on? HELP!?

i just put new batteries in it & it wont turn on. the batteries are rechargable & i charged them before i put them into my camera but my camera wont turn on. my camera is the Canon Powershot A570 IS. what's wrong?

1) Check position of the batteries.

2) Try new batteries.

3) Is the lens cap or any other feature that might inhibit start off?

I think your culprit is poor batteries, a bad charger, or the outlet it was plugged into.

I got these lithium batteries and omg!!

Keeping the rechargeable for other things , but not my camera anymore!

you probably put the bateries in the wrong way, turn them around and your camera will work better.

1. try flipping the batteries the other way

2. try different batteries
