My car cd player reads error?

I already try phillips cd cleaner.what it could be ?

Could be many things.  

1)  lens could be messed up on CD reader itself

2)  you're using a CD/RW with an incompatible format

3)  The CD drive could  be malfunctioning... like the motor not turning the CD.

Read error is really just a general error, and could be anything.

If it's a burnt CD you need to use CD-R,not CD-RW.

Went thru this myself.

Do you have the owners manual for the cd player? If so refer to it. The cd player is "tripping" a code simular to how a cars service engine soon light works. Refer to the manual it will have a list of what makes the display read error and should tell you how to fix your problem.

As a side note if you do not have a owners manual search for one on the internet. You should be able to find one easily.

there's really nothing you can do about. you just got to replace it. the lens on the reader might be damage.

Some don't play burnt cd's are the ones u are using burnt?
