I have a 2 1/2 yaer old and a m/c in Jan. Three month ago I started checking my cervix and I notice that it feels always open. I have been researching this but didn't found anything usefull. My last period has July 15 ovulation 5-6 days ago. Cervix really high and not as firm. Since CD11 my breast has been sensitive on and off and since ovulation a lot of creamy CM. Please only serious answers.

  1. I read in Taking Charge of Your Fertility that during ovulation your cervix should SHOW = Soft High Open and Wet. So if you're experiencing this then it's probably a good thing. I've had the creamy cm too.. it's calming down now.. I think I'm 4DPO. My b*****s have been a little tender too (off and on) and that just means your body is preparing itself for pregnancy OR AF. You start to retain water so that the lining in your uterus can be rich in case you have an egg to implant. Therefore your ENTIRE body retains water and your b*****s get tender because they're filling up. The creamy discharge is from leftover estrogen... the corpus luteum  regulates your hormones after the egg is released and normally provides a nice dose of progesterone but sometimes can have traces of estrogen which causes the CM. Once the estrogen is gone the CM will dry up.

    Hope that helped a little

  2. I can't give you a reasoning for the "always open" feeling of the cervix, but I can tell you that I thought mine felt open all the time too, but when I had my last check up I asked the doctor about it and she told me that it was completely closed and that is how a closed cervix feels. So I guess I was just wrong, and maybe you are too? I have 2 children and am currently trying for my third. I'm 10 dpo and hae been having the creamy cm with on and off yellow stretchy stuff. I have been researching it for a week with no solid answers... some think its a pregnancy sign, others don't think anything of it. I hope you get your BFP soon!!

    Good Luck
