It needs more details. What should I add. I figured I would add stripes or something to the jacket. Ideas?

  1. I don't think it needs more details.  Except maybe some small way of indicating some sort of space he's standing in.

I think it's a good lively expressive drawing.  I would not outline the drawing with thicker lines; I think that would feel formulaic.  Though, possibly I'd make some bits heavier than others, but only in a delicate way.  The drawing has a light touch, I wouldn't want to see that disappear.

EDIT:  Looking again, I changed my mind.  Stripes on his jacket could make a nice texture contrast.  Still wouldn't do much more than that, though, and would still want it to be with a similar light touch.

  2. Like more darker lines to add up the details, and shades under where you think there would be shades.

Its your drawing, you choose what to add!

  3. put a bow tie on him..

    thats realy good..i draw too

  4. It would definitely be great if you out lined the picture with thicker lines. It'll look sharper and more  like "this is how it's supposed to look". you know?

add some shadows on the clothes, and make some creases towards the bottom of his pants.((unless of course they're super tight...)

i would add some patches to his jacket, seeing he's not very wealthy...and add some missing button or something like that.

i don't know why, but i would make is pants plaid pattered.

*i commented on your pic :) hope i helped! -kurokurorin-*
