My eye irritates when I blink?

About 2 years ago I was fooling around with a battery, and a drop of battery acid flew into my right eye. It stung a bit, but there was nothing wrong with my vision. But ever since, every time I blink there's a slight irritation. I guess it's from the accident, but I don't know exactly what (could the acid have burned a tiny hole in the cornea that rubs imperfectly with the eyelid or something?)

Yes, it is a definite possibility.  I would see an  eye doctor to have it checked out.
