My ferret at the stateline

see i live in california and it is illegal to have ferrets but if i am moving to texas where it i'snt illegal to have a ferret and the stateline of california finds me

with my ferret will the confiscate it

I dunno.  I would try to avoid them anyways.  Im not sure what they would do.  Also, there are some cities in Texas where ferrets are still illegal.

Ferrets Anonymous is a website which will list the 'checkpoints' for bringing in flora and fauna across state lines. I think most of the concern is for things coming in. But if you wanted to be on the safe side, avoid the checkpoints when planning your route.
