  1. WOAH WOAH WOAH BACK IT UP!

SYRIAN HAMSTERS ARE NEVER EVER NEVER EVER NEVER EVER EVER **EVER!*** SUPPOSE TO BE KEPT IN A CAGE TOGETHER EVER.

lmao think i said never enough?

only dwarf hamster are suppose to be kept together and thats why i have 2 of them in the same cage.

SPLIT THEM UP NOW! or u WILL have a dead hamster in the matter of weeks-months. im not kidding.

  2. Try putting some toilet paper around the cut to clean it a bit. Maybe wash it in the sink so the leg doesnt get infected. Good luck.

  3. Take him to the vet and don't let your hams play together unless they grew up and live together and if they are regular Syrian hamsters you need to have separate cages for them as they will fight till death once sexually mature. If they are dwarfs that already live together as soon as you know they are fighting separate them and let them have their own cages. As for now make sure the bleeding has stopped by applying pressure and bring him to the vet ASAP. Where I live in Canada its 50$ to see the vet and more if treatment is required. If you live in the US there are better prices. Not all vets treat hamsters so make sure the one your going to does. :):) Good luck

  4. just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected.  If you see any signs of infection take it to the vet.  It will probably just heal on it's own.

  5. keep an eye on it - if his behavior changes at all, (seems groggy, can't move as well, etc) take him to the vet. It would probably be wise to separate him from the other hamster

  6. I would separate Fluffy from Wilbur for a couple days. I would also apply neosporin or antibiotic ointment to the wound to help it heal. If it doesn't clear up in a couple days then I would take Fluffy to the vet. Or actually use EMT GEL. It works great for wounds on animals. If you have a tractor supply company(TSC) you can get it for 13 to 15 dollars.

    Hope I helped.
