  1. i have a iguana and depending on the size of your iguana and gender.

    babys require

    10-20 gallon cage

    basking area

    warm forest like enviornment

    small inssects and romain lettuce.

    a uvb&uva lamp

    water bowl

make sure you inspect the iguana before making a purchase. check for unusual skin scars, bruises or even mites. and if you buy a female breed her 1 a year same with a male.

  2. Having only had him for 4 days, its very probable that he died from a preexisting condition totally unrelated to your husbandry.

  3. it could of been very possible that he died from mites"tiny red bugs living on the animal" and you should probley mist the cage 1s a day depending on where you live

  4. You mentioned he had a UVB light, but did he also have a basking light??  Reptiles need heat and live to bask.  My beardie spends about 95% of his life under his basking light.  If he was not able to keep warm, then he probably died from being too cold.  That would explain why he kept trying to get close to the UVB light.  Sorry for your loss..please try to correct the problem before you try to get another reptile of any type.
