My ipod deleted all its memory?

my ipod completely wiped itself out and is stuck on the page that says plug into iTunes and then i do that and restore it and it wont restore! whats happening and what should i do?

the first thing you should do is download the latest firmware version for your ipod and instead of just clicking restore, hold down shift and click restore and you can browse through your computer and choose the firmware, so save it somewhere easy to find

if it is stuck try reseting it hold down the menu button and the center button for like 10 seconds if you have the ipod touch than press and hold the home button and the lock button. if that dosn't work try bring it to the mac store they kik *** over there plus if its under a year old they will fix or replace for free
