  1. It's never too late to get a cat fixed, however, it is too late to stop the spraying behavior. Even if you were to get him fixed now he will not stop spraying. If you want to keep him you will have to put up with it. I don't know of anything that will dilute cat spray.

  2. It's time for chinese food...

  3. get rid of him

  4. He is sexually mature and marking his territory. Have him neutered and the behavior will slow down.

  5. try puttin a diaper on him or a pair of pants (= our stray cat that sprays aint allowed in the house buy the cat a dog house

  6. hes spraying? marking his territory, if you get him fixed his pee will not be as strong smelling but good luck on getting him to stop .

  7. desex the cat and that should stop the problem

  8. dose he pee all over the place or in one spot?

my dad is a carpet cleaner so i understand about this!

if he pees in one spot then it probably went through the carpet and into the padding and nothing can get that out unless you cange the carpet and padding. if he pees all over the place... call a carpet cleaner to clean it. and even though its too late to do anything about the peeing he alreading done you still need to get him fixed... it will prevent this from happening in the future.

  9. Male cat peeing everywhere because

    1) to mark their territory

    2) it is their mating season. You should get a female cat or bring your cat outside once in a while. If not, the best way is to castrate your cat to prevent them from peeing all over the place.

  10. Is your cat peeing outside of the box, or is he spraying? These are two separate issues. If he's peeing outside the box, It could be a few things. 1) First thing is a dirty box. Make sure it's clean because cats will go elsewhere if there box isn't clean. 2) He may have stones, which is common in male cats, painful, and very serious.  3)There's a chance it could be stress related,so if there is something stressful like a lot of noise or a new person or pet try to comfort the cat or give it some space from that stressor. But get him medically checked first to rule out the stones, if cleaning the box doesn't clear up the problem.

If he is spraying (which is when he backs up against a wall or object and shoots streams of urine up onto the wall), you would need to get him fixed. Then buy a litter called cat attract for a while. It's got something in it that attracts the cat to pee in the box. Nature's miracle is an enzyme that will help get the odor out. There's also new mineral powders at the petstore that work, or good old "fabreze" for pet odors.

    Good luck with Kitty.

  11. It's never too late to neuter the cat. As for the smell, you need a cleaner with enzymes in it that break down the pee. They sell stuff like that at Target. They also sell sprays that smell bad to cats so he'll stay away from the area you spray it on.
